Founder’s Story

After owning and operating my own travel agency for 15 years, I built a strong foundation in hospitality—creating personalized, memorable experiences for clients all over the world. That same heart for service has carried into my journey as a real estate investor, which began five
years ago with short-term rentals and has grown to include long-term and commercial properties.

In 2020, when my father became ill, my family faced the difficult challenge of finding high-quality, compassionate care. What we found instead was a gap in the system—one that left us feeling like we had to settle. That experience lit a fire in me to create something better.

Over the past two years, I’ve dedicated myself to learning every aspect of senior care—from licensing and operations to holistic wellness and person-centered practices. As a mother of three, nurturing others comes naturally to me. I bring that same caring energy into the homes I’m creating—warm, welcoming, and designed to feel like family.

I believe seniors deserve to age with dignity, joy, and a high quality of life.

My vision is to offer a home-like environment that meets every need: nutritious home-cooked meals with locally sourced ingredients, opportunities for natural movement and sunshine, emotional connection, and personalized support. As the administrator, I’m committed to leading with compassion, professionalism, and the same standard of excellence I’ve upheld throughout my career.

At Golden Sanctuary Assisted Living, our mission is simple: to create a place where home
meets heart.

Discover More About Our Senior Living

What is senior living?

Senior living refers to housing and care options designed for older adults who require assistance with daily activities, healthcare, and socialization.

Choosing the right senior living option depends on a variety of factors, including the level of care required, personal preferences, and budget. It’s important to research different communities and visit them in person to get a sense of the atmosphere and level of care provided.

Services offered in senior living communities can vary, but they often include meals, housekeeping, social activities, and access to healthcare professionals.

Senior living can be expensive, but there are several ways to pay for it, including private pay, long-term care insurance, and government programs such as Medicaid or Veterans Affairs benefits. It’s important to consult with a financial advisor to determine the best option for your situation.

Many senior living communities offer various levels of care, allowing residents to transition from independent living to assisted living or memory care as their needs change. Some communities also offer skilled nursing services for those with more complex medical needs.

When visiting a senior living community, it’s important to look for a welcoming atmosphere, clean and well-maintained facilities, friendly staff, and opportunities for socialization and engagement. You should also ask about the level of care provided, staffing ratios, and the community’s policies and procedures. Additionally, it can be helpful to speak with current residents and their families to get a sense of their experiences living in the community.
